I've heard Eva's version and although there seems to be some similarities but I think David definitely put his own imprint on the song and therefore sounds like a David Archuleta version instead of just a cover of another singer. Never experienced anything like it before. Last night I watched Spielberg's "Close Encounters" and it suddenly struck me that I had the same type of compulsion as the characters in that story which is actually an invitation to be a part of something quite extraordinarily. My "soul" recognized the invitation but my consciousness fought it for awhile. So yes, I have ODD - "oh, what a feeling!"
