There's only one song I can't listen to: "Another Day in Paradise"....I cannot stand that song, no matter who's singing it! haha. He sang many mature serious ballads during Idol and I wouldn't blame him if he wanted his first single to be something very different, more youthful,less heavy. We're still in summer after all! I don't think JIVE forced him to choose "Crush" too. He must've liked it. I didn't care for "Tattoo" by Jordin but after hearing it a few times it got stuck in my head and now I find it to be a very clever successfully produced pop song. With all of our expectations there will be fans who won't like "Crush" right away. That's to be expected. If you don't like it there's bound to be other songs on his disc that you will like. But no matter how we individually feel, the song needs to be a hit. So BUY IT(don't steal it)no matter if you like it or not. David made me a believer with many of his songs during Idol.
