I sincerely hope your takes on the remarks are in fact really the case. Maybe if JK invites DA back on his show sometime soon I’ll feel a little better about it. But maybe another way to view the fact that DA got those three mentions: could it be that the industry has realized that the kid is much more than a one hit wonder? That David is in it for the long haul? For those of you outside of Southern California who may not know who the interviewer was who asked David during the pre-show about him possibly performing before all of his ‘peers’ in the audience, permit me inform you who the interviewer is. His name is George Pennacchio, and he works for CBS TV/Radio covering the Hollywood beat. He is very well known and liked by the stars of stage, screen, TV and the music industry. So when he followed up by saying “You realize that some of those big stars are going to come up to you and say ‘We really love you, David’ ” my heart leapt with joy because it indicated that ‘insiders’ are already including David as one of them, as a professional among professionals.
