Evey, if it makes you feel better, I went to MY Walmart today and they had restocked David’s CD. They had 20, I think, on that first day, and the next time I went they had 3 left. Today the rack was full. They also had plenty of Cook’s CDs available, and the two stacks were placed side-by-side.

I went to the Target and found David not on the new releases but in with the other CDs in pop, and they had a pretty full display right at eye-level.

oh my gosh Asley.. David at the Carrie concert pic… sooooooooo adorable!!!

and I went to buy another David CD last nite for my niece and my Walmart has 2 rows of Cook and 2 rows of Beyonce and NONE of David.. NONE!

I ask the clerk where is Archuleta and she says “who?”
ahhhhhh I wanted to slap her!!

I tell her AR CHU LE TA…the runner up on idol with the
voice of an angel!!!! and she says… oh…we only got in about 50 last week and we don’t have any more?

I said are you getting more.?? she says..I dont think so..
grrrrrrrrrrrrrr… How is he supposed to sell when WALMART doesn’t have them stocked???

I loved the Bonnie Hunt interview, sliding down the pole and performance. I think it was one of David’s best and Bonnie was certainly taken by him. The Kathy clip was awesome. I love this video so much for all the reasons you all posted already. and you’re all right it was masculine and sexy. I caught that moment right away when I saw it and rejoiced. David actually, consiously, took over. David has a great sense of humor and handled himself great. I love to hear him laugh. I also loved the way, at the end, that he did take control. He must have melted Kathy’s heart when he gave her “the look” because at the end she said to him “You are adorable” when she hugged him. I don’t think she could have continued with him looking at her like that. Those of you who have met David and got that “look” can imagine what it did to her. .

Hi Hello gorgeous! I noticed you were asking if anyone was thinking about going to see David in Albany. I am almost 100 percent certain I’m going to try to get tickets Saturday morning. I was also talking to some people at Snarkies who want to go. There is one person coming from Canada! Well, you know what David does to us. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know. I hope you’ll see this as there is a new thread. I’ll come back a little later. I would love to share this night with other David fans. And at that venue.. my goodness!! Where are you coming from, if you don’t mind my asking..

HG..I know there’s a new thread, but on this topic…I am also very envious of everyone who is lucky enough to get a ticket for this concert…OMGosh! I will keep my fingers crossed for you to get the FIRST tickets!
This is the kind of intimate concert, (1000-3000, not more than 5000 seat venues) that I hope he will have next year. *sigh*

Well, SF, you know, I didn’t exactly want to rub it in his face.

Aw man, just the thought of a SOLO venue (Sigh). Especially since this upcoming concert means I still have to wait through two acts before I get to HIM. So I called up and found out tickets won’t go on sale until this weekend, which means this just got announced last night.

And, of course, David is performing last! Don’t you just love how the “new artist” is already being treated like a veteran?

Just wait til the SOLO venues next year are announced. Friendships may be broken when fights break out in cyberspace as eveyone tries to buy tickets 2 seconds after they go on sale on line..we may just CRASH the whole system, sending sattelites crashing to the earth!! WHAT JUST HAPPENED!! Hahaha!

Gosh..David performing in a 1000 seat “arena”…couldn’t get more intimate than that!
