He looked great last night! There was a hilarious comment on FOD where someone said that Presley didn’t “know how to manage her ODD” when she pawed all over David. Well, all I can say that is that on Ford Day, I stood shoulder to shoulder with David for about 15 minutes….thank god I was sober!

TOfan, thank you! I know he will blow me away. Question is, will I be able to find words to describe. I figure there’s two parts: (1) His performance, and (2) what it DOES to me. lol Gee, djb, happy, we should invent the handy “Pocket Defib” … fits into any purse! (I can see the infomercial now. Ever since I started going to a different high school last year; they have played music in the hallway and not the good kind of music either its like elevator music. This year we got a new principal at our school. He decided that the elevator music was too boring and to play something else but everything people wanted to hear was not really clean music. The day that David’s CD came out I went to school and walked in the door and I didn’t hear elevator music. What I heard was a beautiful voice with passion and emotion in his music. I took a closer listen and discovered it was David! Ever since then our principal has been playing David’s CD just about everyday because he is clean and has a wonderful voice. I just thought that this was really cool because people in the school are always walking around trying to figure out who is singing then I tell them it’s David and they are hooked. Thanks to our principal at our school we now have more David Archuleta fans here.”

Seems there is an orchestral version of You Can (also on posted on FOD). First Cursh and now You Can. Is this unusual? Are pop songs often done over like this? Anyone know?

Update here in Manila re Davidmania: Crush has been the #1 video in MTV Asia for the last 6 months I think and what is interesting, TMH has been getting good airplay here. I heard it last Saturday 4x from the station whose DJ hates David — and those were the times I was just driving!

I am super uber positive that YOU CAN, TBWY & SOT will be mega hits here cos we do love our love songs in these islands – mushy, sentimental nation! haha. But Desperate will be the sleeper hit – is that the right expression?

Vermeer and I are just back from the Sacramento Jingle. David was in fabulous form. He wore a dark vest over a tight short-sleeved tee-shirt, jeans and sneakers. He started out with a killer version of “Touch My Hands,” moving all around the stage and totally connecting with the audience, completely at ease. The big surprise was the second song, “Works for Me!” So great to hear that song live. He said his next song is a simple love song and sat down to sing “You Can.” The screams increased (if that was possible!!) He finished off with ALTNOY and “Crush.” The crowd was on their feet for the whole set and were crazy for him. David was his usual sweet self. It was over waaaaay too fast.

We meet so many cool NDers and FODers. Soooo much fun!!! More details are sure to come.

Hi! vermeer speaking for the both of us! David was in great form, looked relaxed and oh so handsome! For each performer in the show, four people or so were selected to come sit right on the stage to watch up close and personal, and if I’m not mistaken, David was the only person who acknowledged the people sitting to the side on the stage, once by holding out his hand to one of the girls when he sang Touch My Hands, and again at the end waving goodbye to these few people and everybody else as he was leaving the stage. I thought to myself that is so David, never forgetting others, never acting like he is a big star even though he IS!!!

He was very well received. Even when he sang You Can, people stayed standing, did not sit back down. He looked really happy. It was really way too short even though he did five songs. I think we fans felt so proud. Nat/np1107 who was sitting a few seats from us, mouthed “I’m so proud of David”, I answered “me too!”!

I listened to snarkies’ mp3 of the cellcast — so of course the quality is… but DANG IT! I was crying at YOU CAN!!!!

Even with poor quality audio, his voice JUST COMES THROUGH.

Am dead, a goner, undone. SIGH.

Not since Shop Around have I seen David so happy, just LOVING singing, smiling and flirting and sharing his joy with the audience.

Reminds me also of the old Star Search videos – check out the very end of the song when he smiles and puts down the microphone. The giddy 12 year old is back – only with inordinately more experience and wisdom and talent.

Good morning everyone! Oh wow! Those videos are awesome! I so cannot wait for my concert next Wednesday. GAH! I wonder if David will be singing the same songs, or if he’s going to change them up some (I have an insane wish that he’ll bust out with Somebody Out There, but a girl can dream…) BTW, is our David gaining some weight? Or he’s just building up? My, how he’s changed!

Woo! Chills! “You Can” was so beautiful!!! OK, Jive, why can’t we get TWO new releases? ALTNOY for the Top40 stations and YC for adult contemporary? All the other pop artists have multiple releases playing on the radio at the moment. Why this slow pace, huh?

N.E. waaay, I hope David sings this lovely ballad next week! So, for those of you at the Sacramento JB, I want some stories about audience reception. In particular, any fainting spells, weeping and outpouring of uncontrollable emotions? I want the juicy tidbits!
