I’ve just watched “One” 3 times and still have goosebumps. I love that song and tried to watch the whole medley, however……… I can’t stop rewatching this. I actually needed to put on my robe to ease up on the chills. That he produced. And I am still getting aftershock chills.

David was fantastic -- and knowing he is trying to protect his voice, it is even more amazing. I’m glad he’ll have a night off. He needs 2 days of silence.

I was at Sayreville too and have to say that David blew the roof off of The Starland Ballroom tonight! He’s getting there, folks. He’s dancing more, stepping away from the homebase mic and taking more chances with his dancing. It was a delight to see him all over the stage.

Unfortunately, my view was obstructed. I had a hard time seeing him through two heads, one with a black baseball cap and the other was the head of a woman wearing a big wig! Honestly, who would walk around with hair that big? LOL Oops, I hope it wasn’t a fellow JDer! LOL The place was jammed and this was the best possible place to stand when we arrived. Had no idea that two more layers of people would stand in front of us. I don’t know how they could have fit any more people in the venue. It was packed to the gills with 1650 tickets sold, even though they could supposedly hold 2200.

The crowd kept chanting ‘DAVID’ before he came out. I think he was very overwhelmed by the amount of people and the shrieking of the screams. He commented about never playing to a crowd this vocal before. You can hear the screaming in the youtube of the opening number “Touch My Hand”.

This was my very first time seeing David live and let me tell you…he was on fire!!! Waiting for him to come out was torturous. He opened with “Touch My Hand” which was never one of my favorites but seeing it in person with the actual hand touching showed me why it’s a good choice for the opening of a concert to give David a chance to connect with the audience right from the start. Shhhh but I think David forgot the lyrics to “Barriers”. It’s okay, I doubt anyone else noticed.

David soared through the songs but left the high notes for the band. Only someone who has listened to his CD countless times would notice these little things. He’s so in love with “Zero Gravity”. He smiled when he introduced it and the video will show that he’s rockin’ it to the hilt.

More details will emerge as tomorrow progresses but for tonight….I was touched by an angel.

Before I headed to bed went to listen to U2′s One. Hadn’t heard for awhile. jeez happy, you are so right -- David’s is brilliance.

Siging off too. It’s been fun hanging with all of you. Thanks again to everyone who took the time to post vids and blogs from the concert when I know you must be exhausted,(in a good way). Before I go I’d just like to say that I could listen to him do his ending to My Hands for the whole song. That alone was worth waiting up for. HAAAAPPPPPYY! Your write-up is absolutely awesome. I knew a die hard fan of THE BOSS (Springsteen) would have a perspective that was platinum plated, pure brilliance!!

I watched the videos that are up this am and David’s energy and performance behaviors are increasing -- he definitely is making ArchuQuantum leaps in that area! What synergy we are getting with him and his band! I hadn’t even ventured down that thought path until Va Beach, but just WOW -- the voice with the right band and we get David to the infinite degree over time, ever evolving.

“To Be With You” This is ALL DAVID. Ignore the screams, ignore the chatter, tune in to his voice, his focus, his compact yet high luminosity energy. He is completely still inside when he sings this…like high on a mountaintop…or overlooking a panoramic vista of the likes we haven’t yet seen. No moves, no gestures, just David and the song.

One fan early on says “I’m dying.” I am impressed with the number of fans singing along, who know the words of this ballad, and they love it and they get it.

Then there is “Zero Gravity” with all the fun, soul, and developing moves, and the fans sing along and scream.

This was one of rascal’s dreams -- rawkin’ David and Piano Man David all in one performance!

Zero Gravity… 3:14 in.. David busts a move… I’m hoping someone else posts better videos of this…because he really let loose on it this time.

I commented yesterday about how any shoulder movements from him slay me. Well, I found one on the Richmond WFY video that I can not stop hitting replay on. Go to Tour Reflections, Richmond, then click on WFY vid. It happens at 0.07 secs. He looks down and shakes his left shoulder twice with this smexy expression on his face. When the crowd screams in response he smiles as if to say, “Oh, sorry, didn’t mean to turn you on”.

It’s not enough that he has a drop dead gorgeous voice and face. He also comes equipped with a male sexual magnetism that can drop you at 20 paces (and he ain’t even trying.) We are doomed.

You beat me to it. I was just about to comment on that glance away at 1:12. He whips his head around and holds it there longer than his usual glance aways. I think he’s got an inkling. I KNOW he’s got the powah!

Seeing David live is a life altering experience. Last night was no exception -- he was his usual amazing self and the crowd was right there with him. With that being said, I don’t know if I can handle the moshing anymore. I long for the day when I can have an actual seat to watch him perform. I’m sure I would be standing for most of that anyway, but at least I wouldn’t be squished like a sardine, the way I sometimes feel on a NYC subway at rush hour. The difference there is -- it’s usually only for 15 minutes or so.

By the time David came on my daughter and I had been standing in that mosh pit for about 2 hours. The screaming I could handle, the cameras in my face blocking David’s view I could put up with, but the feeling of being squished into that mob of people, was tough. To top everything off the drummer for the 1st group thought he was being cute by throwing his drumsticks into the crowd. Unfortunately, they came slamming down on my daughter’s head so hard she has a bump on her head this morning. My daughter is not usually a crier, but she got hurt and just lost it.

What everyone should know is, when David’s smiling face came on the stage, all was forgotten by both of us. I am going to the Allentown show with Happy and have decided that I will not mosh. Sitting on the sidelines to hear “The Voice” will be more than enough for me. I feel blessed just to be in the room for that life altering experience!!

djxox -- just tried to rewatch ZG. Youtube now says it was removed.

ninaf- So sorry for your daughter. Sometimes people just don’t think. Hope she’s okay today.

Kizzi -- we did not get to the M&G. Happy was invited to that one with her daughter.

I noticed in the vids for VA Beach that there was no screaming during the songs -- just in between them, the way it’s supposed to be. Do you think it was because it was a formal theater with seating, or was it an older crowd?

ninaf -- Yes, there was less screaming at Va Beach. It was a much more formal setting and I really enjoyed it; but there was screaming and talking. Also, vids and pix were less because it was policed heavily and I did enjoy not seeing cells in the air and constant flashing.

Thanks, Betsy -- she’s fine….I think it was a combination of the squished standing for so long, the heat and then the hit on the head. As I said, she immediately forgot about it once David hit the stage.

The funny thing is after the concert was over, and much to my daughter’s embarrassment, I pulled the drummer aside and explained to him what happened, so he wouldn’t do it again at the next concert. At first, before he thought I was serious, he made a comment like, “Oh, well she should have moved out of the way!.” We didn’t get one apology from him. I’m sure if David knew this whole story, he would be horrified!

Kizzi -- one day it will be the norm to see him at formal settings -- like my dream for Carnegie Hall. I’m sure he could still rock out there!!

It’s nice to see so many pictures without any hovering trumpet players.

This is what happens when I finally get a day off…and it comes after a “David Night”. Am sitting in my p.j.’s and robe still. I may not get dressed all day. My husband can keep bringing me food in here. (he already did it once. I need to gain a couple of pounds, so he brought me 3 sweet rolls. After I ate them all he said “There is some food debauchery going on today”.

First off let me say again how fantastic all the listers were last night. Happy is so well named. It was great to meet everyone and thanks to all for being so nice to my friend who hadn’t a clue about the whole deal. David was brilliant, adorable,thrilling, appreciative (“are these Girl Scout cookies?”) and meshed up with the greatest group of musicians any star could hope for. It’s surreal to think he was seated at his keyboard about 10 feet from me just letting it all go. My biggest objection is the sea of cameras and phones held aloft that spoil the view and the mood. I can only imagine what it looks like to him. It was so great to meet the band members individually. They were gracious about photos and happy to chat. Kendra is gorgeous and so sweet. They are loving this,as well they should. Zero Gravity has been in my head all day.. what a perfect song him…fits like a glove. So to all who shared the night, I love you all. Each David experience superceeds the prior ones and now I can look ahead to Monday, if my heart can stand it.

Kudos on my fave new thing. Tour Reflections. I keep sinking my teeth into it since I found it yesterday. I like the layers.

Took a two hour nap this afternoon. “One” was running through my head the entire time. David’s version.

Interesting info from LAF Forums:

-He asked if I had a favorite song. I said I could never ever pick, but “Zero Gravity” reallly caught my ears. He said he was surprised to hear me say that, but happy to hear I liked it. He explained to me why so many songs he wrote didn’t make the album. You see, at last minute they brought a ton of songs to the label who was like “Uhm, you can put two of those on the actual album”. So they picked ALTNOY and Don’t Let Go

-At one point, the lights in the parking lot went out and it was almost PITCH BLACK. Jeff still talked for at least 20 minutes. We were the only people left.

-We talked about falling and how amazing it is. Jeff then told us the story that I already knew about “falling” (But it gave me chillllls hearing it from him). But i didn’t know this, maybe some of you don’t: At first David did not want to record “Falling” cause he said he’d only sing positive and uplifting song. So they added the two lines on the end of the song to make it positive :”There must be something more to what my life may have in store….keep on pressing through ’til the end”. Now it’s positive. I find that fascinating. David is AMAZING

-I asked him about more albums. He said 2 are in contract and the next one definitely is a Christmas album. I already knew that, though

-I calculated last night how many hours I’ve driven for David. It’s over two days of driving time. He said I was nuts, but thanked me very sincerely for my support.

-He also said that the venue by me, “Northern Lights” in Albany…the little place in the strip mall that he performed a Jingle Jam in?? Well, they went bankrupt and never paid him. I was like “Whaaaat?!?!” so I told him I was going to knock on their dorr and be like “Uhm excuse me, but you never paid David Archuleta. That makes me verrrry upset.” eff thought that maybe he should have called that fans to try and get the money all along…haha. he’s yet to be paid though. That irks me.

-He talked about how Daniel Bedignfield is amazing and very good with David, and he will be doing more writing with him…

-EDIT: I remembered something else! Jeff also says that David plans to sing “Imagine”. He was going to sing it last night but his guitarist did not have enough time to learn the part because he was fixing a technical problem.

Hello everyone! Just stopping in to say what a pleasure it was to meet so many of you! Happy, thanks again for putting together the minifanvention! The food was fab, by the way!

I couldn’t do the floor. My daughter was just not going to make it.. and I knew she wouldn’t be able to see a thing. We ended up getting some nice seats on the side of the stage (first row!) where Kendra and Alex were positioned. They were so much fun engaging the crowd. David come down the little ramp that was there several times and waved to everyone.

I was in awe, yet again, of David’s vocal ability. His voice was clearly hoarse when he spoke to us, yet he nailed every song. Not gonna lie, I’m a little worried to hear that he sang again today. I was really hoping he would be able to rest. He is clearly getting into the groove and I think his band is really helping him loosen up. Zero Gravity is going to kill me! I can’t stop staring.

The joy David felt was contagious!! I couldn’t help but smile most of the time. That’s when I wasn’t screaming, at appropriate times, of course!

Big thanks to Dawn, as Happy said, for holding our place in line! I heard the Snarky girls were not as lucky at FYE today and had to go to the back!
And Dawn, your daughter did tell me she thinks David is great.. I guess she is just too cool to drool! haha

I’ve been viewing pics and vids all day struggling to understand I was there and it’s all gone by too quickly. I am not happy to hear that he’s singing at these appearances that make no sense to me. I suppose he was contracted ahead to do them, but isn’t a day of rest just for that?? I hate that he’s singing in malls and godknowswhat locations. I view David as a gift that shouldn’t be over taxed… geez these venues are sold out…what needs to be promoted??? I was really surprised to hear he came back out and signed after the concert last nite. I’ll be anxious to hear how he’s doing in the next 3 days and I’ll hope he’ll be fine for Monday. woooo.

Hi jackryan4da, sorry about previous comment. I was supposed to write, Hi jackryan, it’s Vee from Sydney. Kumusta na ( to other, it means, how are you in English). Really ZG is really the “IT”. I think it is just the start, wait for the last concert. By then, he would have master all the possible moves. I think , he would add some moves at a time to see the reaction of the fans. Just observe the difference from the first concert (VA, 24th Feb) to Richmond to Sayreville concert.

If people know about the Power rangers (I do have young children), each one touches a gadget attached to his/her arm and then MORPH into super heroes and do all sort of fighting moves. Each ranger has their own specialty moves. David is like that, as soon as he touches the microphone, he morphs into this “Being”. Not fighting moves but singing and dancing ( movement for people who knows how to dance and might say he is not really dancing) moves that he could only do. Other artists or singers who would do the same movement, would not have the same effect and reaction. the David effect is all similar to those people who really “get him”.

Watch Barrier and see how people react to him. He forgot his words but the fans don’t mind. It is probably us”diehards” who knew the words but other might think it is part of the performance. Watch his reaction: he was so happy that the fans didn’t mind that he made a slight mistake. As always, David would make up for that mistake and make the rest of the song so memorable that you would forget that slight mistake (totally erased from your mind, as if it did not happen). People probably will remember when they see the video but during that actual performance,NAH….. THE PERFORMANCE WAS PERFECT TO THE LAST NOTE… Watch the audience reaction,listen to the applauses, hear the screaming……

Joymus, you can download and save the video and play it on real player, or you can pick iTunes to play it in (or some other player) when you start the sownload. If you pick iTunes, be sure to go into iTunes and file/library/Consolidate so that it moves the file from temporary folder to the iTunes folder.

Joymus--it takes my computer a loooong time to download the meagaupload ZG. I just left it and went back and forth to other things and eventually it popped up on my screen. I haven’t tried to save it yet--I’ll work on that tomorrow. It’s bedtime, and I have a houseful of guests.

Well, guess I’ll get into the mix here on the Barriers thing -- I thought after he looked back, he wiped the sweat away from his face and mouthed “it’s hot in here” and the girls up front started going berserk and he was grinning, and laughing and grinning and laughing. He is way too cute and smexy for his own good!

David’s performance last night was kindof mind blowing. I also amazes me how he does all of this incredible improvising with every song to, it appears, save his voice. And it works!

djxox .. but seriously he never stopped boppin!.. yep… my voice is WELL aware of that. The more he moved… the more I squealed like a giddy teenage girl.

I have NO voice today… so he was definately… MOVING.. holy geez … I can’t stay up here in archugaga land anymore. I have to come down. I’ve been at this for over 24 hours straight.

And seriously…your video.. all of them..will probably be the best of the tour circuit.

Getting that close…was lucky… we hit all the right spots apparently. And with 1200 people jammed in there..we all managed fairly well. I had front stage left… if I wasn’t in sheer panic mode…I probably could have smelled him when he reached over my head.

It’s like he’s a painter creating something new every time and there is no wrong way, only a different way to express himself. Even the gliches are just material he uses as part of his medium to create something entirely unique and personal. About the improvisations using his voice, he is so amazing when he changes things up, not just to save his voice, but to be different. The runs at the end of My Hands and YEDL are perfect examples of the absolute artistry of David Archuleta.

what he means about the graduation thing is that he’s not sure if he has accumulated the credits. we have kids graduate mid term but there’s no ceremony or anything…but they’re out of there. so he may have graduated but not known it. I’ll be surprised if they let him walk in the spring ceremony since he’s been gone all year, but Utah?? well they’re sort of different there.

I’ve always wanted to suggest to camp Archuleta that when David is in LA that he take a lesson w/ Derek Hough or Marky Ballas. They are fantastic dancers and teachers, close to his age and both are wonderful stage musicians too. He would learn some kinesthetic awareness with his particular body and some hot moves. And btw they are super guitarists and singers but not in any league compared to DJA. Both have done broadway type work in London in Footloose and West SS. Just a thought.

Yes Kiz.. seeing some good appropriate development here. Getting David is the most crucial part. I just wish they’d limit the singing in silly locations. I was also struck by how he’s maturing physically. Well heck I guess you all noticed that. pause for a “whew”… movin on.

Yeah…I’m jumping in. He’s really taken a growth spurt or something. Just looking at pictures not more than 18 months ago, he’s changing dramatically.

I also believe his voice is changing EVER so slightly.

I have 2 older boys, and if I remember correctly, between 18 and 20 is when they really transformed. Boys bloom later than girls. My daughter reached her full height in 4th grade.

Both boys continued to grow until at least 21.

Just got an email from TOfan. She says she, refnaf and Sunshine were at the Steamtown Mall for the CD signing and they got their CD’s signed but that David seemed “really congested.” Also said that the Canadian fans waving flags mentioned in MikeK’s myspace blog were her, refnaf and Sunshine--they also got to talk to MikeK too after the Sayreville show--he is Canadian too--GO Canada!. They are on to Lancaster and Allentown tomorrow night--lucky them!

I have enjoyed all the comments posted on the fan sites, however, I would be interested in reading the local newspaper reviews. Has anyone come across any?

renailim 10:01 I sent an email to one of the DJ’s from Wild in the Morning in Florida (the guys who set David up with DJ Karaoke) with a link to the Virginia Beach video of I’m Yours, with a note “good, isn’t he?” Course, I didn’t here back from them.

It’s amazing that David was so nervous about singing that song on the radio, and so freaked out when he heard it, and now, he sings it like he owns it, comfortable, having fun.

Kizzi/Marlie/Dawn re David’s voice change. Didn’t Dean Kaelin comment on this on a live chat some time back, that David could retain those higher notes even as his voice deepened? But, that he has to work at it.

kizzi 8:01 – I love your thought here. Yeah, going against the natural grain of his personality. For some reason the video of him singing Silent Night with his mother came to mind. He is maybe 13, 14 and so introverted, so shy! He looks to her for support and confidence and sings somewhat hesitantly.

Fast forward a couple of years:
He was described as sometimes being hesitant and uncertain in rehearsal on AI, but would just go for it in the performance.

Fast forward one year:
He is emerging into someone who has complete control over the stage, complete access to his inner strength.

He is always sharing with us how nervous he is about each new venture, whether it be appearing on TV show or starting out his tour. Yeah, he feels the fear and does it anyway.

I hope Hannah Montana is the last tween thing we see for David. Give David and Mike K. the reins on songs and with any more like Zero Gravity, he’ll have the college age and 20-somethings in the palm of his hand.

I totally agree Marlie.. Zero Gravity can become an anthem for David’s peer group. That’s the most danceable, addictive, hook you song I’ve heard in a long time, and I listen to all the pop stuff. I woke up early this morning and there it was, playing in my head.

Happy -- I never got the opportunity to compliment you on your post -- it is one for the ages, and it brought tears to my eyes.

I am sooo agreeing with your point above. I really believe what made the difference in votes on AI finale night -- While David definitely outsang Cook, Cook’s win was performance-based -- offkey notes and all. (I have NEVER looked back at his performance from that night but I recall his performancea).

What remains to be seen is when he goes to the UK. There the audience may not as familiar with his songs and a whole new David will have to emerge. In just thinking back how much his performances improved with just 3 shows -- in the UK, he may have to hit the ground running with an uptempo gig as opposed to his first in VA. Perhaps it is godd that he has this US tour now because his comfort level singing his repetoire other then Crush or ALTNOY will hopefully increase exponentially.

My dream set list for the UK should include a full version of ONE, ZG, Imagine, I’m Yours, Angels, Barriers, WFY, DLG -- one of the most underrated performance songs (agree with Songbird) -- it is an overlooked gem.

Kizzi 838 Yes, my first David concert experience, but not my first concert experience! Going to concerts is my passion, been going since the late seventies but Sayreville was extra special!

But, why do I feel like it was lightyears away? Help me, was it all a dream? It went by way too fast. So glad to have all of you here to share my ODD. My husband came with me as did my best friend. Hubs has been a fan since David’s audition but doesn’t have the obsession. My best friend was with me too and caught the David bug badly. It was inevitable, ya think? We had a blast but I’m so sorry that I didn’t have the pleasure of meeting up with everyone at the VFW before the show. Had to wait for my husband to get home from work and then make the two hour drive during rush hour. We didn’t get to the Star Parking line until 6:30 pm! Here’s to the next local concert and to meeting you all.

I can’t stop talking about the show. As I read through your posts something always inspires me. I went into this with the knowledge that there are some songs that are my absolute favorites like My Hands, Barriers and To Be With You and lucky for me David sang them all. Then there is a group of songs that I also love but not with the intensity of the above three. The last little group of songs that don’t appeal to me as much as the others like DLG, YEDL all have moved up to another level after seeing David perform them live (YEDL through youtube at Virginia Beach). David’s CD should be platinum by now. I wonder how close it is, after selling at least 500 copies alone on Saturday at a mall appearance in Scranton.

I wish the audience hadn’t sung along with him for that particular song but I totally understand the need to sing with him.. You feel part of the electricity when you sing along; you feel part of the magic. I was totally diggin’ those ‘whoahhhhhhhhhhs” in “My Hands”. I nearly keeled over..luckily my husband was right near me holding me up, hehe giving me a dirty look. Nothing like ‘intruding on a private moment’. LOL

So I decided to see the SLC show, after big internal struggles, because I am already going to Reno. Got my sister to go with me, and started buying 2 tickets this am at 10:00am sharp at Ticket Master, MS time. But my order was rejected many many times. So I tried quantity of one, and got it. And I got one more. Got 2 very separate seats… am afraid that sister would be “not pleased”…

Any advice?

The internet, has made the world flat. The ease and speed by which technology has afforded us access to David’s growth reminds me of the movie Truman Show, minus of course the private aspect of his life and the machinations of TV executives. Wait! Come to think of it, the latter did happen! AI was like an episode in a Truman-like show

But yes! It is a thrill for us fans to grow with David. His courage “to go against the grain” as you have nicely put it Kizzi, is what makes him fascinating.

To paraphrase Ambrose Redmoon “courage is not the absence of fear”. Courage is being scared, sometimes even being scared to death, and then doing what you need to do anyway, right?

David has demonstrated that time and again. I pray that he (and those who have his interest at heart) continues to allow himself to make the journey as`he traverses the fine line of what he thinks he is and who he can be.

Am sure you will agree that that will be one show worth watching.

I was thinking about the songs in the past that I loved the first time I heard them. It usually takes a few listens for a song to “kick in”. For those who have been around for a while (LOL) a few that qualify for me are:

I’ve been trying to remember other songs that I felt I “knew” after the lst time I heard them.. where I could hum the melody right away. The most recent before ZG was Cook’s Light On. The problem with that song was that some of it wasn’t sung well. ZG was such a revelation that I realized I loved it without knowing a single lyric or message. Didn’t know, didn’t care… I think watching him perform it topped a lot of my amazing David in person memories… It’s watching him move to it and totally enjoying himself. No one can stand still .. love watching Alex bopping behind David.

re: Zero Gravity, the song is fantastic for sure, even more so in our minds cuz David co-wrote it, but it’s not just the song, it’s the way David sings it, the way HE interprets HIS song. He brings it to life. He makes us FEEL it. From the first time we heard HIM sing it in Va Beach, when he stood at the mic, like he was bursting at the seams, wanting to just let it all hang out but not sure if he should..to Richmond, where he let go a little more..them BAM! In Sayreville, he absolutely killed it! I think we all KNEW he had the moves, the rhythm, and it was just a matter of time before he really let go. I know some of you suggested David take dance lessons, but I respectfully disagree. I think the way David can be perfectly still then just do a little shoulder shimmy, or a full upper body shimmy, swivelling hips or bopping his whole body, any spontaneous move he makes, just makes him unique. I love that he is unpredictable. I love that his show is not choreographed or doesn’t LOOK choreographed. I’m looking forward to the concerts I’ll be going to cuz I have no idea what David will do. I love that I will see David three times in concert and David may and probably will give us something new & different in each show. I LOVE THAT! The anticipation is so exciting. He’s un-pre-dict-ta-bol, and it works for him. Kinda like his answers to the DJ’s, cinnamon? Mazel Tov?

Like ZG, We’re hearing him sing all his songs and the covers like it’s the first time we’ve heard them, cuz actually it is. It’s the genius in David at work at each concert.

Did I say..I love David Archuleta!

Maybe you all already know the difference between song bit rates but I didn’t. According to the magazine macworld the bit rate for itunes songs is 128 kpbs, while the bit rate for amazon songs is 256 kpbs -- twice as high, therefore, they say much better. It seems itunes is converting there songs to the higher bit rate and calling it itunes plus (also drm free) . itunes will be charging .30 per upgrade per old downloaded song and 60 cents for music video upgrades.

dawn65: Was just talking to my son’s girlfriend who is going to Williamsville with me Tuesday night. She and I have both spent most of the day watching David videos -- she said, “Oh, my god, I can’t stop watching Zero Gravity. It’s fantastic! I listened to it last night before bed and just laid there with it going through my head. I couldn’t get to sleep!” She has it bad -- and that’s what I love about her.

And that is my problem, too….can stop watching Zero Gravity.

Whatever David does will always be spontaneous. It’s just his nature but I agree with Kiz that his comfort zone in dancing could be expanded. His friends say he can really bust it.. and I bet we’ll get to see it more and more as the tour goes along and I also bet it will be most evident in performing Zero Gravity.

SF -- “I know some of you suggested David take dance lessons, but I respectfully disagree. I think the way David can be perfectly still then just do a little shoulder shimmy, or a full upper body shimmy, swivelling hips or bopping his whole body, any spontaneous move he makes, just makes him unique. I love that he is unpredictable. I love that his show is not choreographed or doesn’t LOOK choreographed. I’m looking forward to the concerts I’ll be going to cuz I have no idea what David will do. I love that I will see David three times in concert and David may and probably will give us something new & different in each show. I LOVE THAT!”

I agree 100% but didn’t know how to say it. I was going to address this later. I DO NOT WANT David to be choreographed!

I like the “Zero Gravity Tour”

Please no dancing lessons. Then all concerts will be the same. Just let the audience vibes lead him. Every concert is different. His interpretation of the same song is different , just watch ZG from VA to Richmond to Sayreville. No choreography, just spontaneous movement/dancing. So even though you would be attending several concerts, each one would be special because David would always make that concert unique and distinct from other concerts (same song, diff interpretation, diff vibes, diff audience, diff…diff…different…..)

Kizzi is right. I would NEVER hope for any sort of choreography for David. Unnecessary and unsuitable. But all great artists like to expand their horizons. Look what lessons with Dean Kaelin did for him… and he’s working on his guitar skills. It’s just all part of the package. He wants to take acting lessons. good for him… it’s all good and he’ll take what he likes and use what he needs. Man Kiz I wish I could have seen the ZG vid on home theatre… I can only imagine.

He lowers his head while holding onto the mic stand and just HANGS there for a while and when he looks up…..(and he is so wrong for that)…..the expression on his face. Sweet mother of all the gods. His mouth. The look in his eyes. He is a killah.

You know, I remember watching him on AI singing Shop Around and Imagine and thinking, aww..isn’t he cute! Just like a little puppy! I did not know at the time what I letting myself in for. I did NOT sign up for this. A year later and our puppy is becoming a dog…. and it ain’t no chihuahua!!

She called to say that she found herself cruising iTunes today looking for his music without any intention of doing so. She hadn’t watched Idol or seen any concerts..she just came along for fun..and now she’s hooked. I expect to hear whimpering from her any time now.

FOD posted that they sold over 500 tix. Let’s get another show scheduled. Man, that sounds really selfish, doesn’t it? David needs to rest sometime. I was online at 10:00 sharp this morning and couldn’t get an extra 2 tickets. I had one chance, but waited too long to make up my mind. I actually got teary, and my daughter who was visiting said “Mom, you’re not crying are you? You’ve already got tickets.” I had to leave the room to have my cry. My husband actually took over the computer for awhile to try to secure 2 more, even tho’ I already have some thru FOD, but they weren’t to be had. I called at 11:00 am and they told me they were sold out. I had decided to get some for my granddaughter and her friend. Maybe next time, cuz I will not give up mine (I’m a meany, I know). I sure hope we can show you all some good Utah weather--March is always a question.

At 1:14 is when he cocks his head to the left and looks me dead in the eye. I’m nearly on the floor … burying my head.
At 1:19 (when I was hoping he’d disappeared and looked back up)…the smile..I’m dead now, I rebury my head.
At 1:22 is when he reaches OVER my head to touch the hands of the people behind me.
At 1:24 I peek up only to rebury my head…by 1:34 he’s tortured me enough, and finally leaves. (he spend 20 seconds over there) the longest 20 seconds of my life.

Thanks for letting me relive that djxox… that was more embarrassing the second time…lol. But it did jostle the experience out of repression.

Hi Everyone!

It seems as if the Angels vid will be the must-see one of the night. FOD reported from their cellcasters that David seemingly overwhelmed by the audience’s response, began crying at the end and told everyone that he loved them so much.

Awwww….David puts just about everything he has into his performances so this comes as no surprise. We always remark on his composure but can you imagine how much high hopes and everyone’s expectations of excellence he holds inside?

What a trooper -- we love you David!

dawn65, Hopefully your not getting the funk. I have had the sore throat, coughing, achy crap all week. It seems to just hang on and drag you down. I have a little over 7 days before I am blessed to see our David in Chicago. (Thanks for the tickets, mommuzboys). I certainly hope to be feeling better by then. Too many tests this week in school to stay home and drink fluids and rest. I wish you good health, as this is cruddy stuff!!!
BTW…A great BIG THANK-YOU to all the fantastic videos that have kept my ODD at bay! David has really thrown everything he’s got into this tour so far. He’s lookin’ very smexy too!

On DJBell’s Sayreville video of “Don’t Let Go”, at 2:35 David looks like he is having some kind of spell and his head collapses into his arm. When he “comes to” a second later, he sings a line that is not from this song. He then resumes the song, looking as if he has “come back” from some other place. It’s amazing and a little spooky. What do you think?

DJ -- I must tell you that we are living vicariously through you AND your vids! TMH at around 30-40 seconds is killing me every time.

You have given me the closest thing to a real David concert that I will probably ever get. Things change and not always for the better. I almost got tickets to Chicago but it was not to be. It’s only 5 hours from me so I really had hoped to go. I haven’t talked about it because I was heartsick. And I was feeling pretty selfish for wanting to go when my husband was laid off.

This weekend has “eased her pain”
