He absolutely nailed it! This was by far the best version yet. I'm sitting alone in my apartment screaming and cheering and crying....my neighbors know by now I'm a loon. Rascal, first I've got to say how much I love you. You always write exactly what I'm thinking. I haven't been around in quite a while. For the past few months....actually, specifically the day McCain chose Palin as a running mate last fall, my David obsession returned to my political obsession. I'm unable to deal with more than one obsession at a time, unfortunately, so David took a back seat. Since Nov. 4th and Jan. 20th that heavy weight was lifted...ahhh, what a relief! Anyway, when I came by here yesterday to snoop, I was so delighted with this peek at David singing along with Jason Mraz. Although I heard David mention Mraz before, I had never seen/heard him before he was on SNL, and I fell in love and have had this song in my head since. So what a delight to hear David singing this song, even his screw ups were adorable. Every time I see David's beautiful face or read one of his long blogs or hear the VOICE, I can't help but smile. He's always so happy and shiny, he positively glows. He's always reminded me of a little Buddha, there's such a serenity and peacefulness about him, and if you're ever fortunate enough to meet him, you can feel it. I believe you know what I'm talking about, Rascal. I've seen/felt that same peaceful glow with other Buddhists. The Dalai Lama has it and so does my own sister, the venerable Sangye Khadro. I just wanted to share that with you, and thank you for remaining so respectful of one of our earth's most beautiful human beings, David Archuleta. I'll come back and lurk again sometime.
