Important information for anyone going to the CD signing at Deseret Books after Friday’s MoTab:

“Singer-songwriter David Archuleta will sign copies of his album, The Other Side of Down, immediately following his performance at the Mormon Tabernacle Choir’s Christmas Concert on Friday, Dec. 17.

Due to the demands of Mr. Archuleta’s schedule, he will only be able to sign for a limited time that evening. He will start signing at approximately 9:30 p.m. and is scheduled to sign until 11 p.m.

- One product signed per person
- No memorabilia
- No posed photographs with Mr. Archuleta. There will be a designated area to take a photo after leaving the signing line.
- No personalization. Unfortunately Mr. Archuleta only has time to sign his name.

The line will form at the store’s northeast entrance.

Archuleta rose to instant stardom when, at the age of 16, he became one of the youngest contestants on the seventh season of American Idol. In May 2008 he finished in second place, receiving over 44 million votes. He has since gone on to release a successful Gold-selling pop album, a Christmas album and a New York Times bestselling memoir, and on 5 October released a brand new pop album.
