Fans meeting David in his hotel in Hanoi -- they are just squeeing!
Freaky security guys and overly rambunctious fans at Hanoi airport:
I see consistency in his confidence with his latest stage performances. His emotional connection to his audiences has improved by leaps and bounds from say 2 years ago. The voice keeps getting better and stronger. I love him giving us glimpses of his “soul” background (scatting, other ad-libs, fresh riffs and runs in his repertoire. It is also fun and reassuring to see him remain humble and grounded despite his continued rise to greater fame.
I trust HIS innate intelligence and his new-found drive to find HIS OWN ways, devices,(e.g. networks, industry connections) to ensure a lasting career for him and for his fans. I think he loves this adventure enough to do this. Keep that fire within, burning, David!
To JR, Marlie and other dedicated TDC peeps, we are thoroughly enjoying the site right now. A heartfelt thank you. But I predict, with your impressive archive of his performances (from the beginning of his career), that TDC will be the “go to” site by the ARTIST, his loved ones and his fans now and the generations of fans to come, in the near future.
