A video blog last a couple of days ago sent Archies in a tizzy when David announced that he will be going back to Asia yet again but this time in HK. But that was not what made his devoted fans jumped all around with excitement. It was the reason for his HK trip — to shoot a music video for his next single “Wait”.
David made the announcement of his latest project without ny fanfare, totally opposite of its impact on his devoted ArchAnegls. Am sure you have seen all the very creative ideas the fans have shared across fansites on how “Wait” could be executed.
With David turning 21 by year-end, the ideas had become more colorful and adventurous, LOL. Well, let’s see how long we have to wait, to see “Wait”

Happy Halloween JR et al. Like you so happy David arrived safely to a welcome from his fans in Hong Kong. So excited to find out when they perform, how the video will go etc etc.

Following this most recent info and trip has/is going to be a lot of fun! Fingers crossed that things totally take off for him there and they book him for a tour next year. He looks happy in the photos and I just love those flowers.

olemr2001 -- what a great find that review is. He did a good job of talking about David’s strengths and the strengths of the CD itself. I like seeing a young male interested in David’s music.
marlie7, I especially liked it (at 4:45) when he referred to David as “a real artist” — with a slight emphasis on the word “artist”! Also, I appreciated it that he mentioned that his parents had bought the CD and really liked it.

I just got an email from Live Nation with David Cook concert dates and venues. Looks like he is following the same circuit as David did on his first tour: Crocodile Rock, Northern Lights, StarLight Theater and more -- must be a group booking situation -- book one, get them all LOL
Cook is also playing at Irving Plaza on Dec 9 -- 7 days after David. Very interesting.
PS -- I just noticed the JR4DA on that video -- our own JR LOL
Interesting; it could well be a package deal for bookings. Following David and learning a bit about the music industry has been eye-opening to me.
I am curious if that LDS Living mag is available in Deseret Bookstores today in hard copy, or if it’s just an online order.
FREO -- the LDS mag will be available on newsstands -- at least that’s what I remember reading somewhere.
MARLIE/FREO -- yeah, I just uploaded that as I am still completing my uploads of videos from previous years.
And you are right Freo, it was in a hotel -- the same period when David was made to sing for Kelly & 2002 Idol finalists. That impromptu number caught the attention of Good Morning America and invited David to be featured in their newsbits. That’s what I remember reading from David’s pre-Idol website.
Wanted to let you know that a group card was started for Hooked who unexpectedly lost her husband. She is a great fan of David. I met her in San Diego for the Del Mar concert, she was at Motab, and more recently in Arizona. She’s also Silverfox sister.
