TV5 US-bound: Nandito Ako to Follow?
TV5 is coming to America this May as “the fastest growing network in the Philippines, brings Wil Time Bigtime and its host Willie Revillame for the network’s international launch” with shows in LA and San Francisco.
TV5′s international channel dubbed as Kapatid TV5 carries most of TV5’s flagship programs such as Face to Face, Wil Time Bigtime, Babaeng Hampaslupa, Juicy, Paparazzi, Talentadong Pinoy, Wow Mali, R U Kidding Me?, Sugo Mga Kapatid, Bagets, Iskul Bukol, among others.
That being the case, Nandito Ako shouldn’t be far behind?

Given the foregoing, I think US fans will be in for a nice surprise in the next 2 months 
And ASSUMING this comes to pass, then the probability of having a Nandito Ako DVD (w/ subtitles) is further increased!

Logically a DVD would come AFTER the run of the series. I just hope the DVD will be received well worldwide

Loving all the buzz and possibilities.
David is such a giving and considerate person. When he said he won’t leave his fans w/ nothing, he really meant it and look at all the gifts that we are getting!
He is also an astute businessman. He recognizes that maintaining that connection with his fans is the means for him to come back. I won’t be surprised if he & Kari have plotted the release of his stuff in the next two years.
But he had to work quadruple time in the last 4 months before he left for his mission to ensure he had something for us Archies -- and that’s what I admire and appreciate so much of him.
More than business sense, I guess it is his genuine love for his fans that is an overriding factor wrt his actions these last few months.

TV5 debuts in US

TV5, the fastest-growing broadcast network in the Philippines, has teamed up with DISH to bring its news and entertainment programs to Filipinos residing in the US beginning on May 23.
DISH is the leader in international programming in the US and the first pay-TV provider to carry TV5’s international channels. Through Pilipinas Global Network, the international affiliate of TV5, US-based Filipinos will have access to cutting-edge and trend-setting programming through its Kapatid TV5 and Aksyon TV International channels.
“TV5 International got another boost with this partnership with DISH. It signifies our continuing commitment to give Pinoy audiences the best entertainment and public service programming, wherever they may be in the world,” said Claro Ramirez, president and chief executive of PGN.
“DISH is pleased to be the first pay-TV provider to offer TV5 content in the US,” said Chris Kuelling, vice president of international programming at DISH.

Hope it does well here. The You tube doesn’t play in US.
Some have complained that the video cannot be played in their countries. Weird. It’s like VEVO. Till now some of David’s MV are still not available in the Philippines via VEVO. You’d think that with globalization and all the technology in our disposal that just put all those filtering to shame, that they would just quit making those restrictions…
