Well, Color-Me-Rainbow-Happy Mr. Archuleta!
Are You Ready for F.E.E.?
My anticipation for this repackaged Forevermore could rival David Archuleta’s debut album. Yeah that red CD album that took – judging by the sales of his debut single and the album itself – Archuland and other non-Archuterritories by storm.
And why??? Because of ONE music video which have tickled our fancy for some months now!
What can I say? I was smiling and giggling like a cuckoo-loco here while watching David do the Rainbow Remix. Thank God for doors and locks. Otherwise my staff would have thought I have lost it!
I know! I know! It will take some time for international fans to see it – unless released officially by the Mothership – but, believe me. After going through some terrible sessions with customers and clients and then still smile, laugh and oh be so color-me-rainbow-happy from just watching David, it’ll be worth the wait.
Thank you David’s Team, Ivory and Jake Durias for Rainbow Remix. Now I understand why David liked the remix version. Really like the percussion arrangement. Kudos Jay and special thanks to Sherwin, David’s driver while here in Manila for introducing the remix version.
There is SO SO much fun watching David in HD as all 3 Forevermore music videos are in HD format. And greater joy watching him having fun while at work. Which he certainly did with Rainbow. (I still would prefer for him to have some more meat on that body of his!)
Here’s hoping we will see and hear more of stuff like this from David upon his return. Unleash the Latino in you David! That Latin beat in you is just rearing to come out

Due to a very tumultuous time, I was unable to get Forevermore the first time it came out. Luckily things have settled down and now I’ll be able to treat myself to another album of David Archuleta.

Please allow me to share this: Do you know that there are areas outside the US that still cannot see David’s video on VEVO? Up to this day there are certain David videos I cannot see if I opt to view them on certain channels, on certain radio online sites. MTV, etc… because they are within US territory.
Do you know that we in Asia also have to wait for anything produced from the US? And although we whimper and crazily crave for them, most of us respect that waiting period. We have just been lucky in Manila cos he has been here more times that we could ever ever hope for.
That’s why I have always been thankful to fans who gift Archies in Asia or share their concert videos with the world – stuff that we otherwise could have never enjoyed.
I am thrilled when my co-Archies are gung-ho about anythingDavid but I take exception when some legitimate concerns are reduced to online drama. Producing music is tougher than ever. Sony has closed in Manila. Music businesses are consolidating. Most are still in a quandary on what to do with the internet. So am thankful for Ivory for the support they give to David. But am wary how long that support will last strong if there are more.. shall we say commercially viable options in the market.
And oh yes I am frustrated that there are some who can go scot free uploading full materials that have been barely released. I used to think that that has never dampened the sales of the likes of JB, Madonna, Rihanna, One Direction, etc… but that’s the thing: they are them. They have their labels and they are widely accepted in the US. David has a much smaller base to rely on. A much niche market if you may call it. Sometimes I feel that David is an acquired taste… I dunno… I just know that his
musicvoice moves me and that I will support his career any way I can.End of rant and I hope I did not offend anyone or have not abused the hospitality that FOD has shown me in recent times.
JR -- Bravo! The music business is a mess, and if we want to keep hearing our David sing, we have to be willing to support that with our $$$$.
JR, Marlie— I’m with you on this. Refuse to watch Rainbow until my Copy comes. Agree that it’s important to support David and those that produce his music.
