David Archuleta to headline December’s ‘DAC The Halls’ in Layton
LAYTON — David Archuleta is coming to Northern Utah for the holidays.
Davis Arts Council has announced Archuleta’s spot in headlining its yearly “DAC The Halls” holiday concert.
Archuleta will take the stage at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12 in the Layton High School auditorium.
“We are ecstatic to welcome back the incomparable David Archuleta,” Davis Arts Council wrote in its press release.
Archuleta previously performed in the organization’s 2015 Summer Nights with the Stars concert series, where demand was so great Archuleta and the council agreed to book a second show. Now, he is set to perform in Layton for the third time this year “to share in the sights and sounds of the Christmas season,” according to Davis Arts Council.
Tickets are slated to go on sale at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 10, but prices have yet to be set. Interested parties are encouraged to visit davisarts.org for further information on ticket sales.
Past performers at the DAC The Halls event have been Alex Boyé of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Voice Male and Ryan Shupe & The Rubberband.

2,000 returned LDS missionaries to participate in 2015 Latino Event with David Archuleta
Two thousand returned missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will don their name tags Oct. 23-24 as they participate in the church’s 2015 Latino Event at the Conference Center in Salt Lake City.
Returned elders and sisters under the age of 30, married or single, are invited to participate in Luz de las Naciones: Juventud de la Promesa, where they will join singer David Archuleta and the program’s cast for a special performance.
