On one hot day, a concert was held somewhere in Rancagua…

An Archie was overwhelmed…

And over 50 Archies chatted the night away last night as Gladys shared her unforgettable experience, witnessing what sounded like a to-die-for performance of a certain Elder in Chile 🙂

I won’t go into much details in deference to TheVoice who hosted the chat. Abrra will post the whole chat over at TheVoice while Gladys gathers her wits (tee-hee) to write an article of her experience. We will also post the links here when they come out.

Definitely something to look forward to 🙂

In the meantime, given that no videotaping was allowed, let’s just imagine Elder Archuleta giving his own stamp on some of the performed songs: READY?
Celia Cruz’ LA VIDA ES UN CARNAVAL

WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD by Armstrong

SUENA CON UN MANANA by Luis Miguel

Iglesias’ HERO (?)

Now Gladys says he sang Iglesias’ Hero but Aguillera’s Spanish version. But I cannot find s sample of it. Mariah sang Hero in Spanish so probably it is this one —

Hero in Spanish by Mariah

Now imagine David shadow boxing & kicking to the tune of ..

EYE OF THE TIGER by Survivor

Thank you Gladys for sharing your stories right after the concert. Am so happy that at least one Archie witnessed this EPIC occasion. By the sound of it, our guy misses performing )

Archies, be ready for 2014!

Defib anyone?

~ JR
ps1: He also sang IMAGINE in English. We KNOW how exquisitely that one goes 🙂 I will add more songs as soon as we get more feedback from those who attended
