RANDOM REVIEWS
It was a wonderful evening. I know how much I missed live skating because seeing the ice I simply could not stop smiling.
I was a bit trepidatious about live singing- I love all kinds of music, but if singing is off- key a lot, I am literally in pain. Should not have worried- performers were very good. Straight No Chaser did nice complex a- capella numbers, Ruben Studdart and David Archuleta were very good as well. David sang pop numbers- both upbeat and ballads from his new album, Ruben Studdart did a couple of ballads.Skating was wonderful, really everybody was “on”. Of course skating to live music often was not as complex as skating to recording, but really, everything was very well done.

I thought perhaps my standards had slumped due to lack of skating, but I agree that this show was a giant step in the right direction. Can’t specifically target what worked, it just seemed more thought out and better directed throughout. I agree the music was better than usual.

Thanks JR for this lovely re-cap!. Happy Martin Luther King Day to all.
You’re welcome RAEL 🙂 I actually have the whole show in HD but have not found the time to properly upload them. My last upload failed. Hopefully I can finish them tonight.
Finished uploading the HDTV vids of Skate for the Heart. I have included the special cast intros in the performance vids -- don’t want to waste any gorgeous DA footage, do we? 😉

Looks like David is going to INDIA next week!
“… We then headed back to campus for a very busy day. We’ve been spending all week preparing for the loads of people coming next week, namely David Archuleta. I helped organize the star store. The children receive stars for good behavior in school and with their hostel family…”

This was re-aired the other day but I realized that there was no good copy at YT so what else is there to do but reupload, right?
A Converse endorsement? Dislayed @ Wal-Mart, Mexico of all places -- YAY!

Shucks,JR, You beat me to the punch on the Converse Ad. That’s really cool that they are using David’s image. Now if they would only do it here in the United States.
